| Subject: FUNK STYLES? Fri Nov 30, 2007 6:22 pm | |
| Hi everybody, I've been looking for a accurated definition of the genres that are linked to funky music, such as electro, italo, disco, etc. I haven't been able to get a nice description at the web, and not many information is around... Anybody could help me? I'm starting building a blogsite and I'd like to give a description regarding those genres in order to make people to understand what does funky music means.... Thank you before hand bros! PS: I'll certainly give you my thanks on the site if you're wondering about it! | |

| Itao disco is a pretty different style and the main thing is that this production or press of vinyls came directly from Italy; first term was "invented" by Bernhard Mikulski with his famous compilations "The Best Of Italo Disco Volumes...1-16" (released by the ZYX Company) but on that compilations were also mixed artists...Italian & German, so that's why a lot of people mixed up "Italo Disco" artists with other Euro-Disco...like Mike Mareen, Silent Circle, Bad Boys Blue, Cliff Turner... More info about Italo http://www.euro-flash.net/ If You ask me, I like Italo&Disco&Funk!!! Bye & regards | |
