I suggest that we all say a few words about ourselves!
How did we find disco-funky music attractive, and how much music "runs" our lives!
Cool

I´m from Croatia, small town Petrinja, 35 y.o., not married yet.
My first meeting music war thru radio shows some 20 years ago. I started with POP music (eurobeat) and Italo, since in our clubs/discos that music was prefeared. But later I find that house and hip hop offers much better rhythm with larger possibilites to mix vinyl records who had that kind of beat. And that was it! I was possesed!! Laughing
Later I just expaned my interest on R&B especially on first half of the 90´s because I host radio show called "Black session" afro on our local radio station for several years. And today I collect R&B music from early 80s cause it was not available for me those years. And now I see was I was missing! And thanx to YOU guys I´m aible to get myself that groove funky beat!
So - groove on! farao

Good start...

What to say about myself?!
Born somewhere back in the early 70's...started listening and collecting music almost instantly as I started to walk Smile
First with a tape recorder and radio shows (with finger on record button all the time).
Later I disovered that vinyls are much better than tape recordings and after I bought the first one, I could stop anymore.
At the age of 15 I started to work as a DJ and stayed in bussines for something over 11 years.
Today I have beautiful wife and two wonderful kids...son and daughter.

Through all the changes in my life one thing stays unchanged...untouched...LOVE FOR MUSIC.

My turn...

Born in 1964 (gulp!) The first record ever to 'hit' me was Earth Wind & Fire's September in 1979...from then I was hooked.
My favourite music is soul, funk and R'n'B from 1980-1986 approximately, but my music taste is varied and I've been buying CDs since 1984, always searching for those hard to find tracks on CD <sigh>
I got into the funky thing through pirate radio in the UK, and had lots of tapes recorded with no details of track name or artist at first. I'm slowly finding them all though, either through second hand record shops or thanks to you guys Smile
There is not a day that goes by without music in this house, and If I can help you find a track, I will
cheers

Lozzy
